COUNSELING STYLEAllison is a client-centered therapist with a background in family systems therapy. With a strong belief that each and every person has innate worth and value, she helps her clients sort through the messages they have received and interpreted through experiences and relationships that have shaped them. She finds great joy in creating a place where her clients can bring their dreams and fears, budends and celebrations, failures and successes and be met with acceptance, understanding and utmost care.
With extensive training in Christian counseling, her faith enables her to share the grace she has received with others. Upon the interest of the client, she creates a space to process faith questions, prayer and utilizes scripture in session.
" Many times my job looks like shining a light into the resources that are already present in clients' lives and walking alongside them in encouragement as they grow." -Allison
